Chief Executive Officer – System Retail Services & Marketing
David Gaines joined Ochsner Health System in 2010 and is the CEO of System Retail Services and Marketing. David is responsible for the areas of Executive/Corporate Wellness, the Brent House Hotel, Elmwood Fitness Center, Durable Medical Equipment, and the development and growth of other retail services. In addition, David oversees the Marketing and Communication functions for the System.
Prior to joining Ochsner, David was the Chief Operating Officer of MNS Ventures Inc., a venture capital investment firm, where he was responsible for the business operations of several start-up companies in the Southeast and Midwest Regions. He was also President of M&G Shipping/Unishippers, an MNS Ventures investment franchise, providing transportation solutions to companies across the U.S.
David attended the University of Minnesota Graduate School of Business and received his Bachelor of Arts Degree from the University of New Orleans. David graduated from Jesuit High School and lives in Metairie with his wife, Millie, and their three children.
