General Counsel and Senior Vice President of Corporate Compliance
Pete November joined Ochsner Health System on July 30, 2012, as General Counsel and Senior Vice President of Corporate Compliance. In this role, Pete oversees Ochsner’s Corporate Compliance, Legal Affairs and Risk Management teams and assists in the development of strategic affiliations with other providers.
Before joining Ochsner, Pete was most recently the Executive Vice President, General Counsel, Secretary and Director of Acquisitions for LHC Group, Inc. headquartered in Lafayette, Louisiana. LHC Group is a leading national provider of home health and hospice services and serves thousands of patients in 19 states. There Pete was responsible for oversight of all legal functions including litigation, investigations, managed care contracting, physician contracting, regulatory advice and acquisitions. Prior to joining LHC Group, he was Partner in the Healthcare Corporate Group with Alston & Bird, LLP in Atlanta.
He was recognized in 2010 as “Dealmaker of the Year” by the Louisiana Chapter of the Association of Corporate Growth and by Nightingale’s Healthcare News as People to Watch in Healthcare Transactions in the Southwest.
Pete is a Certified Public Accountant licensed in Kentucky and Louisiana. He received his Juris Doctor (J.D.) at University of Kentucky College of Law in Lexington, Kentucky and his Bachelors of Science in Accounting at The University of Kentucky.
