Executive Vice President and CFO
Scott J. Posecai is the Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer for the Ochsner Health System. Mr. Posecai joined the Ochsner Clinic in 1987 and was named Chief Financial Officer in 1995, where he served until the merger of the Ochsner Clinic and the Alton Ochsner Medical Foundation in 2001. Upon merger, he was named Chief Financial Officer of the Ochsner Clinic Foundation and in 2006 for the Ochsner Health System.
Currently, Mr. Posecai is responsible for Accounting, Budgeting, Decision Support, Reimbursement, Managed Care Contracting, Revenue Cycle, Health Information Management and Supply Chain for the system. Mr. Posecai holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from the University of New Orleans and is a licensed Certified Public Accountant.
Prior to joining Ochsner, he held positions in Accounting, Treasury and International Tax in the Oil and Gas Industry. He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Louisiana Society of Certified Public Accountants. He was named Alumnus of the Year for 2004 by the University of New Orleans, College of Business.
