Join us for a presentation on “Staying Well With Meditation”
The benefits of meditation are now widely acknowledged in the scientific literature; however, misconceptions about meditation persist.
In a presentation that focuses on the scientifically proven biochemical changes that occur with regular meditation practice, Dr. Basu Ray will discuss how meditation boosts natural killer cells in the body and will explain how these cells boost immunity and combat existing diseases—including cancer.
Some of the benefits of regular practice include increased exercise tolerance in patients with heart conditions, lower blood pressure, improved cognition, decreased stress, and enhanced postoperative healing.
Seminar attendees who want to bring meditation’s benefits into their lives will learn about a weekend retreat at which Dr. Basu Ray will teach the techniques of meditation.
