The Ochsner Health System Administrative Fellowship is an opportunity for post-graduate professionals to further develop their interest in healthcare administration. A leadership development program, the Administrative Fellowship aims to:
- Provide experiential and hands-on learning in an integrated healthcare delivery model
- Develop individual skill sets in Operations, Finance, Human Resources, Marketing, and other key administrative areas
- Develop future leaders in Healthcare
The Administrative Fellowship consists of three unique programs:
Each concentration offers rotations through various functions of the discipline over a 12 - 24 month period. These rotations are guided by an executive preceptor and supported by strategic leadership partners across the system, allowing Fellows to determine which career path they intend to follow. Numerous past fellows hold key leadership positions within the Ochsner family and at many other major academic health centers in the US. Many past fellows remain active within the program through alumni networking, providing guidance to other past and current fellows.
