Ochsner Health System requires all resumes and applications to be submitted online. Please REVIEW all positions before applying. Positions of interest may be saved in your Job Cart for easy reference and consideration. Candidates may then select up to FIVE individual job postings.

Resume - Ochsner Health System requires all resumes and applications to be submitted online. You will need to submit a resume in electronic format. If you do not already have a resume in electronic format, please click HERE to access a template to use as a guide to create one. You may save this document for your records and your own personal use. If you already have a resume in an electronic format (MS Word, WordPerfect, etc.), you may cut and paste the text into our database or upload your resume into the system. By uploading your resume, information will be extracted directly from your existing document into the system. Create a Profile - You may create a "profile" at any time by uploading your current resume. This will not only allow you to search for jobs, but also allow Ochsner Employment Teams to search for you! Your profile will be reviewed during candidate searches for specific experience, skills and competencies. This profile is not considered an application. If you are interested in being considered for a specific position, you will need to "apply" for that job. Job Search - You may conduct a job search at any time. Apply for a Position - You may apply for any position that you feel your qualifications match the requirements. You will be required to answer job related questions and may be asked to take an assessment for a particular position. Please Note: To be eligible for a transfer to another department, an employee must have:

  • Successfully completed the department orientation checklist and initial employment period (generally defined as a minimum of three months for most employees*).
  • Been in the current position for a minimum of three months.
  • Not received a written corrective action, or be on disciplinary probation or suspension within the last 6 months.
  • Received an "achieves expectations" or better as an overall score on the most recent performance evaluation.

*Generally, the initial employment period for RNs is six months. For management level employees, the initial employment period may be up to one year. Ochsner reserves the right to extend the initial employment period for longer based on management discretion.

WHAT YOU MAY EXPECT

Upon receipt of your application, you may expect the following:

  • You may view the positions you have applied for and any pending assessments by clicking the tab labeled "My Workbench"when you log-in to your profile.
  • Human Resources will send you an e-mail confirming that your profile has been received.
  • An email notification will be sent to your immediate supervisor.
  • Human Resources will review your profile immediately upon receipt.
  • Human Resources will contact you if you are considered a top candidate for any position for which your skills, experience and competencies match our needs.
  • Due to the large volume of applications we receive, unless you are identified as a top candidate, Human Resources will not contact you.
  • Human Resources will continue to include you in searches for skills, experience and competencies as other positions become available.

USER ID and PASSWORD

You were sent an email notification with your password information. If you cannot locate this information, please click "forgot password" and your password will be forwarded to your email address.

APPLICATION STATUS

You may log-in and check the status of your application on MATCH at any time. This information is viewable once you log-in to MATCH. Simply click "My Workbench" on the tool bar for a list of your applications and status.

SEARCH AGENT

Our MATCH "Job Agent" will let you set up keywords and other search criteria for newly posted jobs. You may choose to have the job agent notify you via e-mail when new jobs are posted in MATCH that meet your search criteria. We encourage you to check the website frequently, as new jobs are posted daily!

APPLICATION ASSISTANCE

If you do not have access to a computer, no problem! Computers are available at local Ochsner Human Resources offices where candidates are welcome to come in and apply. There are supplemental instructions and staff available to help guide candidates through the application process if needed.
