Dr. Glenn Polin received his Bachelor of Arts degree in Philosophy from Princeton University in 1994, where he graduated cum laude and was awarded the Class of 1869 Prize in Ethics. He earned his medical degree from the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine and completed an internship and medicine residency at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania in 2005.

Dr. Polin finished fellowship training in cardiovascular disease at New York Presbyterian Hospital-Weill Cornell Medical Center in 2008. He then returned to the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania to complete an additional two years of subspecialty training in clinical cardiac electrophysiology, where he worked under nationally and internationally recognized experts in the field.

Dr. Polin has a particular interest in the treatment of complex heart rhythm disturbances and has extensive training and experience in catheter ablation of atrial fibrillation, ventricular tachycardia, and other cardiac arrhythmias. He also has expertise in the implantation of pacemakers, defibrillators, and biventricular devices.
