Hans Mulder, MD, specializes in pediatric cardiology at Ochsner Health. Dr. Hans Mulder received his medical degree from the Medical School of the University of Amsterdam in the Netherlands. He completed his residency in pediatrics at Beth Israel Medical Center (affiliated with the Albert Einstein College of Medicine) in New York, and then he moved to New Orleans for fellowship training in a combined pediatric cardiology program of Tulane University Medical Center and Ochsner Health. Since completing his training in 2000, Dr. Mulder has practiced as a pediatric cardiologist in Louisiana. He is board certified in pediatrics and pediatric cardiology. His practice currently focuses on the outpatient care of children with congenital heart defects and support for their parents, and the care of prospective parents in the fetal cardiology clinic. An area of special interest for Dr. Mulder is echocardiography, including fetal echocardiography and transesophageal echocardiography.
