Dr. James Fraser Rini received his medical degree and master's in public health from New York Medical College in 2015. He went on to complete his internship and residency at the University of South Alabama in 2019. He completed his fellowship in Behavioral Neurology at the University of California San Francisco Memory and Aging Center in 2021. Dr. Rini is board-certified by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology and has been on staff at Ochsner since 2021 and practicing medicine since 2015._x000D_James's overarching goals include improving accessibility, affordability, and equity of behavioral neurology in the US using innovative personalized information technology. His ongoing research focuses on embodied virtual reality remote clinical diagnostic tools to improve screening and clinical characterization of neurodegenerative conditions. Long-term research goals involve improving detection, differentiation and management of neurodegenerative diseases through next-generation diagnostic and intervention tools.
