Dr. Seymour was born and raised in the New Orleans area. She attended Dominican High School, went on to college at USL where she graduated Magma Cum Laude with a bachelors degree in Microbiology. She then attended LSU Medical School in New Orleans where she was admitted to the AOA medical honor society and received the Pediatric award upon graduation. She then joined the LSU faculty and taught medical students and residents in the Pediatric Emergency Room at Charity Hospital for thirteen years before joining Ochsner in 1998. She is board certified in General Pediatrics as well as Pediatric Emergency Medicine and practices in the Ochsner Children's Health Center - Slidell, where she enjoys seeing well, sick and injured children from birth to eighteen years.'
