Nicole Lasserre, PhD, specializes in clinical child and adolescent psychology at Ochsner Health. Dr. Lasserre received her undergraduate and doctorate degrees in psychology from Louisiana State University. Dr. Lasserre is a licensed psychologist, licensed behavior analyst and board certified behavior analyst at the doctoral level. She has worked with individuals with autism and other developmental disabilities since 2001. Dr. Lasserre specializes in the provision of behavioral health services to individuals with autism and other developmental disabilities in home, clinic, school, and community-based settings. She offers interventions which focus on increasing developmentally appropriate language, behavior and social skills and reducing behavioral difficulties. Dr. Lasserre also offers parents, caregivers and teachers training related to the use of behavioral interventions. She has also provided consultative services to local public schools related to early intervention and behavioral supports for students with developmental disabilities. Dr. Lasserre is a Louisiana native who is committed to improving and expanding the behavioral health services available to individuals with developmental disabilities in Louisiana.
