William Davis, III, MD

I am a veterinarian and have been through my fair share of human medical specialists, from allergists to neurologists to endocrinologists. I have suffered with chronic urticaria from a very young age, and horrible flares tend to come on at the most inopportune times and can be extremely difficult to get under control. Dr. Davis has helped me get through some extremely difficult times, and has done so with empathy, respect, genuine caring and more knowledge about my condition and the potential underlying causes than I had ever experienced with an allergy specialist. His team is highly responsive to messaging through the Ochsner app, which allows me to reach them if I have questions or concerns. And they are always amazing about working with my crazy schedule to make sure that we get my issues worked through (despite what I am sure is also a crazy schedule on their end). I can't say enough good things about Dr. Davis - I truly wish that every human doctor was as empathetic and dedicated as he is. Despite the risk of his practice becoming even busier with more stellar reviews, I can not recommend him more highly :)

My visit was very pleasant. He is the ONLY doctor who actually listened to my lungs. He's pleasant, knowledgeable, and has a huge amount of bedside manners. I should've skipped the two allergy Dr's and the pulmonologist. He's soooo nice and thorough.

Dr. Davis is Amazing ! He really cares. I forgot what a good doctor was already, I'm used to being ignored and rushed. With Dr. Davis I'm heard and he actually cares and helps. I'm very happy with this doctor and his team, they're very polite.

Dr. Davis took a lot of time going over a complete history, and asking a lot of relevant questions. He listened fully to my concerns and gave me information that was helpful. In addition his staff was attentive and friendly. No one ever made me feel rushed or like there was anywhere else the needed to be.

The best doctor I've been to so far!! So concerned and took great care of me even though I had other issues that I've been trying to figure out as well. He took it upon himself to put orders and advise me to see a cardiologist. Not many doctors walk you out to the the lobby and wait with you to get scheduled for your next follow up and other tests. I love how he listened and wrote everything down from the beginning to the end .When you go to see any doctor you have to feel comfortable to let them know what’s going on with you and even though you have so much going on but at the end he said “don’t worry we will figure it out” !! I was thrilled and confident with the Dr. Davis care that I came back to my co workers to brag about what kind of doctor Dr. Davis was. Wonderful Doctor!! Highly recommended!!

Dr. Davis is knowledgeable and thorough. He is kind and genuine. I am glad he is my provider.

Dr. Davis was very thorough in his questioning of my history of continuous history of sinus infections and accompanying serious headaches . He did not dismiss any of the infections I endured,but did not feel they were the initial agent in causing my ill health. His desire to have another look at the origin of my problem was refreshing , even if it does not prove correct.. It was also clear he had respect for his patient. An attribute often missing in the younger generation of medical providers!

Great personality! The office had an outage and he kept on trucking while others didn't. He was fun and caring and actually listened.

Dr Davis was thorough, patient, kind, and incredibly empathetic. I really appreciated him taking the time to explain what was happening and my next steps to get help. I highly recommend and and am appreciative of physicians like himself who treat patients as individuals and not just another number.

Dr. Davis was thorough and actually took the time to explain what my results mean. I feel that I don't normally have that experience with my doctors and I really appreciated him taking the time to do that for me. Most times I leave a doctor's office with uncertainty. It's clear that he wants his patients to understand what's going on with their health.

Dr. Davis is a great doctor, he takes time with his patients and he is very thorough, he is extremely nice and caring and so is his staff. I am so grateful he is my doctor.
