Ochsner's commitment to patient care, education, and research enables the service of patients and communities today and in the future. For over 60 years, Ochsner has cared for residents in greater New Orleans communities and beyond. Philanthropic giving, blood donations and volunteering is integral to maintaining the standard of excellence the Ochsner name connotes and Ochsner patients expect. Monetary Gifts to Ochsner Health System are tax deductible and are often dedicated by the donor to specific areas of patient care, medical research, or graduate medical education. Through their generosity, benefactors make possible many of the innovations and services that set Ochsner apart and advance healthcare for the good of the patients and all humanity. Ochsner is here for the Southeast Louisiana community, and draws vital support from those who recognize the value of the work it does. In fact, those who contribute to Ochsner's philanthropic programs become partners in efforts to excel and succeed, whether that takes place in the health centers or the operating room, in medical research initiatives, in the education of tomorrow's caregivers or in community-outreach efforts.
