Volunteers in patient care areas visit with patients and assist the nursing staff with non-technical duties. (Must be 16 years of age or older)
Service
Volunteers in service areas assist patients, family members, and visitors with locating their destination, escorting by wheelchair, delivering mail and magazine, etc.
Clerical
Volunteers in clerical areas assist the Ochsner staff with basic clerical duties, such as answering phones, creating packets, data entry, filing, etc.
