A New Orleans native, Dr. Aimee Mistretta graduated summa cum laude from Newcomb College of Tulane University and subsequently completed medical school at Louisina State University Health Sciences Center in New Orleans. From there, she finished her internal medicine internship at Earl K. Long Medical Center in Baton Rouge and dermatology residency with Louisina State Univeristy. As a board certified dermatologist, Dr. Mistretta's interests include general, medical, pediatric, surgical, and cosmetic dermatology. She is a member of the American Academy of Dermatology, the American Society for Dermatologic Surgery, and the Women's Dermatologic Society.
