Dr. Forshag earned her medical degree from the LSU Medical School in New Orleans. She completed her internship and residency in Internal Medicine at the University of Alabama Hospitals in Birmingham where she also served in the divisions of Internal Medicine and Geriatric Medicine. Dr. Forshag is board certified in Internal Medicine and Geriatric Medicine. Dr. Forshag has been on staff at Ochsner since 2004.
