Barbara received her Masters of Science in Nursing from the University of South Alabama in 2008. She is board certified as an Adult Acute Care Nurse Practitioner. Barbara has over 13 years of experience in Cardiology Nursing at Ochsner Medical Center. Prior to joining Ochsner as an NP, Barbara worked as a Nurse Practitioner for St. Thomas Community Health Center in New Orleans.
