Dr. Starr earned his medical degree from the LSU Medical School in New Orleans. He completed his internship and residency at the University of Alabama in Birmingham where he received the UAB Argus Society Award as the Best Pediatric Resident. He is board certified in Pediatrics and joined the Ochsner staff in 2003.
