Dr. Crawford is a board certified gynecology specialist who has been with Ochsner since 1990. His practice is located at Ochsner Medical Center on Jefferson Highway. He limits his practice to gynecology. He is a graduate of the University of Mississippi Medical School and completed a residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of Tennessee where he served as Chief Resident. Dr. Crawford was the first in the New Orleans area to regularly perform total laparoscopic hysterectomy and has special interest and expertise in advanced laparoscopic surgery, management and treatment of fibroids, endometriosis, and menopause. He is very interested in resident teaching and has twice been recognized for his excellence in teaching.
