Dr. Borg received his MD from the Tehran University of Medical Sciences and Health Services. He then completed his residency in Internal Medicine at Prince George's Hospital Center in 2003. Dr. Borg completed a fellowship in Hepatology at the National Institutes of Health in Bethesda, Maryland. He then went on to receive a Master's Degree in Clinical Research at Duke University and completed another fellowship, this time in Gastroenterology, at Washinton University School of Medicine. Dr. Borg joined the Ochsner transplant team in August of 2009.
