Carol received her Associates Degree in Nursing from LSU School of Nursing in 1981, followed by a Bachelors of Science in Nursing from Loyola University in New Orleans in 1994. She worked in various surgical specialities as an RN before obtaining her Masters of Science in Family Nurse Practitioner from Vanderbilt University in 1997. Prior to coming to Ochsner, Carol worked as an NP in Emergency Medicine and Primary Care. She is currently pursing her certification as an RN First Assist.
