Dr. Staffeld-Coit earned her medical degree from Northeastern Ohio Universities College of Medicine in Rootstown, Ohio. She completed her internship at Akron City Hospital followed by clinical renal, nephrology research, and renal transplantation fellowships at Emory University School of Medicine in Atlanta, Georgia. She is board certified in internal medicine and nephrology and by the American Board of Medical Examiners and is a fellow of the American College of Physicians. Dr. Staffeld-Coit has been on staff at Ochsner since 1996.
