Dr. Brandner is a native of Metairie, Louisiana, where he received his Bachelor’s Degree in Biology from the University of New Orleans and his Doctor of Dental Science with Distinction degree from L.S.U. Medical Center in New Orleans. Dr. Brandner is a Diplomate of the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, a Fellow of the American College of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, the International Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, the Undersea and Hyperbaric Medical Society, and the American Cleft Palate-Craniofacial Association. Dr. Brandner is a part time Clinical Assistant Professor at the L.S.U. Medical Center, Department of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery.
An Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeon holds a Doctor of Dental Science degree and continues his training as a hospital based intern and resident in oral & maxillofacial surgery. This specialty training presently consists of an additional four to six years spent in maxillofacial surgery and related medical and anesthesia specialty areas.
