Daryl Stanga has been with Ochsner Orthopedics since 2006 as a Physician Assistant. He specializes in total joint replacement. He recieved a Bachlors degree in Healthcare Administration from Excelsior College Albany New York in 2004 and a masters degree in Physician Assistant studies from Bethel College in McKenzie TN. in 2006. Mr. Stanga retired from the US Navy in 2004 after serving 22 years as an Independent Duty Corpsman in undersea medicine. While in the Navy he worked on several projects with the Navy and NASA as a medical saturation diver. He has worked extensively in Hyperbaric Medicine at Naval Medical Research Institute in Washington DC and the Navy Experimental Diving Unit in Panama City, Florida. Mr. Stanga is an Active member of the AAPA (American Academy of Physician Assistants), AAPA Veteran Caucus, UHMS (Undersea and Hyperbaric Medical Society), PAOS (Physician Assistants in Orthopedic Surgery).
