Dr. McBurney earned his medical degree from LSU and completed his internship at Charity Hospital in New Orleans. After three years in the Navy, during which time he graduated from the Naval Aerospace Medical Institute in Pensacola, Florida. Dr. McBurney completed his residency training at Chairty, Upstate Medical Center in Syracuse, New York, and Ochsner. Dr. McBurney is board certified in Radiology and has been on staff at Ochsner since 1986. He practices at the Ochsner Health Center - Covington, Ochsner Health Center - Hammond and Ochsner Health Center - Slidell.
