Dr. Mendoza earned his medical degree from the Louisiana State University School of Medicine in Shreveport. Following graduation, he completed his Internal Medicine internship and residency at Ochsner Hospital. Also, Dr. Mendoza completed fellowships in Critical Care Medicine, Cardiology and Interventional Cardiology at the LSU Medical Center in New Orleans. He practices at Ochsner Health Centers Hammond, Baton Rouge and Covington. Dr. Mendoza has been on staff at Ochsner since 2006 and is board certified in Internal Medicine, Cardiovascular Disease and Interventional Cardiology. Dr. Mendoza's expertise is in the area of cardiac and peripheral vascular interventions. His special medical interests include Critical Care Medicine and congestive heart failure.'
