Dr. Gabriel A. Vidal obtained his medical degree from Central del Caribe, SOM, in Puerto Rico, his native country. He went on to complete his internship at the Louisiana State University in New Orleans, where he also completed his neurology residency and served as Chief Resident. During Hurricane Katrina, Dr. Vidal was an active participant in the evacuation efforts, serving as a volunteer physician at a Red Cross Evacuation Center in Baton Rouge, LA. He completed his Vascular Neurology fellowship training at Emory University in Atlanta, GA. His area of special interest is Vascular Neurology and he joined our staff in 2009.
