Dr. Isa earned his medical degree from LSU school of medicine. Following graduation he completed his internship and residency at LSU Medical Center. Dr. Isa also completed a Cardiology fellowship at Ochsner Foundaiton Hospital and an Interventional Cardiology fellowship at Scott & White Clinic/Texas A&M;in Temple Texas. He is board certified in Cardiovascular Medicine, Interventional Cardiology, Nuclear Cardiology , and Internal Medicine. He is a Fellow of the American College of Cardiology and the Society Cardiovascular Angiography and Interventions. Dr. Isas interest are in Cardiovascular disease prevention. He specializes in complex cardiac and peripheral vascular interventions including angioplasty/stenting, carotid stenting, limb salvage, renovascular hypertension and mechanical thrombectomy. He has been on staff since the fall of 2007 and practices at Ochsner Health Center in Covington. '
