Dr. Gaspard received his undergraduate degree from LSU in 2000. Following this, he completed his medical degree at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas. After medical school, he did his internship and residency at Baylor College of Medicine where he also spent a year as chief resident for the Department of Medicine. His fellowship in Gastroenterology was completed at Duke University Medical Center. Dr. Gaspard's expertise is in the areas of inflammatory bowel disease, esophageal motility disorders, liver diseases, and gastrointestinal endoscopy/colonscopy. His special medical interests include inflammatory bowel disease and gastrointestinal emergencies.
