Dr. Eustis graduated summa cum laude from Washington and Lee University in Lexington, Virginia, and earned his medical degree from LSU in New Orleans. He completed his internship at Ochsner and his ophthalmology residency at LSU Eye Center followed by fellowships in pediatric ophthalmology at the Hospital for Sick Children in Toronto, Canada, and the Childrens Hospital at the National Medical Center in Washington, DC. He also completed a fellowship in ophthalmology and strabismus at the Wilmer Institute in Baltimore, Maryland. Dr. Eustis is a fellow of the American Academy of Ophthalmology and has been on staff at Ochsner since 1986. A well-known pediatric ophthalmologist, he has over 30 scientific publications and over 60 presentations to his credit. Dr. Eustis holds Clinical Associate Professorships in ophthalmology at both Tulane and LSU medical schools.'
