Dr. Muncie is a graduate of the Medical College of Georgia. He completed his Family Medicine training at the University of Maryland Hospital in Baltimore, MD. He was in the US Air Force for two years after residency. He was a faculty member of the University of Maryland School of Medicine from 1977 – 2004. He joined the Department of Family Medicine at LSU School of Medicine in 2005. He is the Director of Student Education. He sees adults and children in the practice. He is board-certified by the American Board of Family Medicine.
