Dr. Mautner received his undergraduate degree from the University of California Santa Barbara and his medical degree from Jefferson Medical College in Philadelphia. He completed his Orthopaedic residency training at Louisiana State University in New Orleans. He served on active duty in the Army at Landstuhl Regional Medical Center in Germany, practicing general Orthopaedics and operating on combat trauma coming out of Iraq and Afghanistan. He also served as the Orthopaedic Surgeon for the 67th Forward Surgical Team(ABN) in Germany and for a year in Afghanistan. After returning to the U.S., he completed an Orthopaedic Trauma Fellowship at Carolinas Medical Center in Charlotte.
Dr. Mautner is board certified by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery. He practices general Orthopaedics and specializes in Orthopaedic trauma.
