Dr. McCrossen has been in private practice in LaPlace since 2004. He received his medical degree in 2000 from Louisiana State University School of Medicine and completed his residency program in Obstetrics/Gynecology from Ochsner Foundation Hospital in 2004. He is board certified and a fellow of the American College of Obstetrics/ Gynecologists. At Ochsner, Dr. McCrossen developed an interest in high risk pregnancy and minimally invasive GYN surgery, which allows for faster recovery times. He performs in-office endometrial ablations and gynecological procedures.
Dr. McCrossen is past Chief of Women’s and Children’s Services and past Chief of Staff at River Parishes Hospital. He is a member of the Greater New Orleans OB/GYN Society and River Parishes Medical Society. He is also a member of the Pastoral Council at St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church.
