Kim earned her Master's Degree from The George Washington University Physician Assistant Program in 2004. She practiced Orthopedics with a specialty in hand and upper extremity from 2004 to 2008 in Washington DC and Boston, Massachusetts. She practiced Orthopedics with a specialty in Foot and Ankle Surgery in Washington DC from 2008 until 2010 when she relocated to New Orleans and joined Ochsner in the Department of Pain Management. In October 2011, Kim joined the Department of Orthopedics.
