Michael Anders, L.C.S.W. received his MSW degree from the University of Alabama at Tuscaloosa in 1994, received his License in Clinical Social Work initially in Alabama, and has been licensed in the state of Louisiana since 1999. Mr. Anders joined Ochsner Health System in 2007. He works half-time in the Addictive Behavior Unit, in addition to seeing patients in the outpatient setting at the Main Campus clinic. He treats adults, adolescents age 17 and over, and couples. He has a special interest in substance abuse and addictive disorders, sexual concerns, depression, bipolar disorder, interpersonal conflict, ADHD/ADD, anxiety disorders, and obsessive-compulsive disorder.
