Dr. Boucree received his medical degree from Tulane University School of Medicine. Upon completion of a residency in Internal Medicine at DC General Hospital in Washington, DC with the Howard University Medical Service, Dr. Boucree served as Internist and Medical Director of Hamilton Family Health Center in Flint, Michigan in completion of his obligation as a US Public Health Service National Health Service Corps Scholar for 4 years.

Over the following 20 years, Dr. Boucree joined Northwest Medical Clinic in Flint as an Internist and became the managing physician of the practice while concurrently, holding positions and responsibilities as the Chief Physician Advisor for Utilization and Case Management at Hurley Medical Center, Medical Director for Heartland Nursing and Medical Director for the Hurley Medical Group (Practice). Subsequently, he assumed increasing roles of administrative responsibility as the Vice President/Medical Director for Medical Management of the Hurley PHO, then Vice President for Medical Affairs and subsequently Vice President for Outcomes Management/Chief Quality-Patient Safety Officer for Hurley Medical Center.

His clinical practice included general internal medicine and primary care of the HIV positive patient.  Dr. Boucree is certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine and by the Certifying Commission on Medical Management as a Certified Physician Executive.  He has served as the President of the Genesee County Medical Society, numerous committees institutional, professional and community-wide, and has received the highest honor bestowed upon physicians by Hurley Medical Center, the Pinnacle Award.  Dr. Boucree has served as Vice-Chair of the Genesee County Board of Health, Vice-Chair of the Flint Cultural Center Corporation, and Board Member and Chair of the Flint Institute of Music Diversity Committee.

In 2009, Dr. Boucree was the recipient of the Maize and Blue Award, University of Michigan-Flint’s highest undergraduate accolade, with a Bachelors of Science degree with High Honors in Music (Piano Performance).
