Dr. McMullan received his undergraduate education at the University of Virginia. He earned his medical degree at the University of Mississippi and went from there to Carolinas Medical Center in Charlotte, N.C., where he completed a residency in Internal Medicine. He followed with a fellowship in Cardiology at Rush University Medical Center in Chicago, Ill., where he served as Chief Fellow. He completed his training in Interventional Cardiology at Ochsner Medical Center and joined the faculty at Ochsner in 2006. Dr. McMullan is board certified in Internal Medicine, Cardiovascular Disease and Interventional Cardiology.
