A New Orleans native, Peggy Alexander graduated with a diploma in Nursing from the Touro Infirmary School of Nursing in 1974. She enjoyed working at various nursing positions at Touro Infirmary and Ochsner Medical Center. She then earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing and Master of Science in Nursing from Loyola University New Orleans in 2004. Peggy is board certified as a Family Nurse Practitioner. She is a member of the Louisiana and New Orleans Association of Nurse Practitioners. She also is a member of the Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing. She has been on staff at Ochsner since 2004.
In her “free” time she has raised 2 children Nicolle and Jules. She loves to travel and she is a longtime citizen of the Who Dat Nation.
