Dr. Canfield earned his medical degree from the University of Vermont Medical School and completed his residency in family medicine at the University of Miami in Florida. He began practicing family medicine in 1975 and joined the Ochsner staff in 1988. He is board certified in family medicine and practices at Ochsner Health Center Lapalco.
