Dr. Milani earned his medical degree from the University of Florida in Gainesville before completing his internal medicine internship and residency and a fellowship in critical care medicine at UF, Jacksonville. He completed a fellowship in cardiovascular disease at Ochsner after a two-year clinical and research fellowship in preventive medicine and clinical epidemiology at Harvard School of Medicine and Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston. Dr. Milani is a fellow of the American College of Cardiology and has been on staff at Ochsner since 1991. He is board certified in cardiovascular disease and specializes in consultative cardiology. His expertise includes echocardiography, preventive cardiology, cardiac rehabilitation, lipidology, and population medicine.
