Dr. Vinroot earned his medical degree from the University of North Carolina School of Medicine. He earned a Master of Public Health degree from the University of North Carolina School of Public Health. Following graduation, he completed his residency at Louisiana State University School of Medicine in the Emergency Medicine Department. Dr. Vinroot has been on staff at Ochsner since 2009. He is heavily involved in community service and relief work. Dr. Vinroot is a member of Doctors Without Borders.
