Ms. Pitre attended Southeastern Louisiana University where she earned a Bachelor's degree in Science with an emphasis in Athletic Training. In 2002, she received a Master of Health Science degree from the Physician Assistant Program at The University of South Alabama. Following graduation, she worked in the Urology Department at the University of Florida in Jacksonville. In 2006, Ms. Pitre joined Ochsner's Gastroenterology Department. Ms. Pitre is board certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants. She is also a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants and the Louisiana Academy of Physician Assistants.
