Dr. Butcher earned his undergraduate degree from Williams College in Williamstown, MA and earned his medical degree in 1970 from Tulane University School of Medicine in New Orleans, LA. In 1975 he completed his residency in Otolaryngology at Tulane University School of Medicine in New Orleans. Dr. Butcher is certified by the American Board of Otolaryngology and has been on staff at Ochsner since 1977. Dr. Butcher's special medical interests are evaluating and treating patients with benign or malignant head and neck tumors. He currently practices at Ochsner Medical Center. In his spare time he enjoys fishing and playing tennis.
