Dr. McLaren received both his Bachelor of Science and Doctor of Medicine degrees from the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor. His internship and residency training were completed at The Mayo Clinic in Rochester,Minnesota where he finished in 1991. For the next 15 years he practiced with what is currently The Affinity Medical Group in Appleton, Wisconsin except for one year spent with the Center for Urological treatment and Research in Nashville,Tennessee. He returned to Mayo Urology department in 2006 where he was a Senior Associate Consultant until joining Ochsner Clinic May of 2009. He treats all aspects of urologic disease and illness. Currently his primary office is in The Ochsner Kenner Medical Office Building.
