Dr. Kelly was born in Baton Rouge and grew up in Monroe, LA. He is a graduate LSU Baton Rouge, where he received a BA in Chemistry. He graduated from LSU School of Medicine in New Orleans and did an internship at Charity Hospital. He then served seven years in the US Army Medical Corps, including his Urology residency at Tripler Army Medical Center in Honolulu. He has been board certified since 1977. He has practiced his specialty of Urology in Jackson, MS and LaPlace, LA, and until recently was the Chief of Urology at Chabert Medical Center in Houma, LA. He is a member of the ANMA and the LSMS. He is a member of the AUA and the SESAUA. He is a Fellow of the AC.
