Dr. Tamma earned his medical degree from Kasturba Medical College in Manipal, India, in 2001, and then earned a master's degree in epidemiology at the School of Public Health in Albany, NY. In 2007 he completed an internship and residency at Sinai-Grace Hospital in Detroit, MI, followed by an oncology fellowship at Ochsner Clinic Foundation. Dr. Tamma is board certified in internal medicine and medical oncology. His office is located in Suite 313 in the Medical Office Building at Ochsner Medical Center - Kenner.
