Dr. Borchers, a native of Slidell, graduated magna cum laude from Jesuit High School of New Orleans. He received his bachelor's degree from Louisiana State University in Baton Rouge majoring in microbiology and minoring in chemistry. Dr. Borchers earned his Doctorate of Optometry from Southern College of Optometry in Memphis, TN. He completed a contact lens rotation at Eyecare Associates in Metairie and an institutional-based rotation at Ochsner Clinic Foundation. He is certified by the National Board of Examiners in Optometry for treatment and management of ocular disease and currently holds an optometry license with therapeutic privileges in Louisiana. Dr. Borchers practices at Ochsner Clinic Foundation Slidell.
