Dr. Jenkins earned his medical degree from the University of Arkansas Medical Center in Little Rock and completed his Internal Medicine fellowship at the University of Missouri Health Science Center in Columbia. He also completed an Interventional Cardiology fellowship at Ochsner Clinic Foundation. Dr. Jenkins is a fellow of the American College of Cardiology and has been on staff at Ochsner since 1994. He is board certified in Cardiovascular Diseases, Internal Medicine and Interventional Cardiology and specializes in Interventional Cardiology, including complex coronary and peripheral angioplasty, carotid stenting, valvuloplasty, limb salvage, renovascular hypertension, brachytherapy, thrombosis and mechanical thrombectomy and laser revascularization.
