Sydney Prescott, RN, MSN, NP-C earned her Bachelor of Nursing degree from Southeastern Louisiana University. She has practiced as a Registered Nurse Clinician with Ochsner for 21 years in Breast Screening and General Surgery departments. She then returned to Southeastern for her Masters of Science in Nursing degree and was certified as an Adult Nurse Practitioner and is practicing in the Hematology/Cncology and General Surgery Departments. She is the originator and facilitator of the longest standing breast cancer support group in the Baton Rouge area called Hope Chests and has received grant funding from Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Organization in support of this group for the past 11 years.'
