Dr. Moore graduated from the University of Kansas School of Medicine in 1989. He completed his residency training at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, Texas and served as Chief Resident at The Methodist Hospital. He completed his fellowship in infectious diseases at the National Institutes of Health in Bethesda, Maryland. He is board certified in internal medicine and infectious diseases, and holds additional certifications in clinical tropical medicine and travel health. His special interests include clinical parasitology, travel-related illnesses, arthropod-borne infections, and Clostridium difficile. He joined Ochsner in September 2010.
